The C. Vale Cooperative was established in the 1960’s as a result of a 24 farmers businessmen joining together. Today the cooperative has over 8.000 members and employs over 4.000 people. The cooperative is involved with the production of soybean, corn, wheat, pork, poultry and dairy products.
C. Vale is among the leading grain producers in Brazil and also has been innovative and a pioneer in poultry production, being the first company in Brazil to use broiler houses with integrated climate control.
C. Vale has control of it’s entire chain of production, starting from the seeds used in grain production, to the final product that reaches the consumer’s table. This entire process is certified, from the production of seeds which is ISO 9001 certified, to the slaughterhouse which is ISO 9001, BRC and HACCP certified, and all the other relevant facilities in the poultry production are also HACCP certified.
